
Pedro Charneca
Actor, Clown and Dr Clown
Born in Beja Portugal in 1976, he lives in Grândola.
From an early age, he did staged reading, radio and theater.
Enters the performing arts and crafts course (Chapito ,1998), where he studied various artistic aspects, dance, music, theater, circus techniques and human motricity, highlighting some teachers, Rysnard Kot Kotesch, Antonio Pires, Nuno Carinhas, Avila da Costa , Carlos Zingaro, Antonio Tavares, Sofia Neuparth, Peter Michael Dietz, Joao Martins, Antonio Benedites, Bernardo, Jon Beedell, Greeg Moore among others.
He trained as a clown with Jon Mowat, Daniel Rovai, Lila Monti, Laura Hertz, Pepa Diaz Meco, Peter Shubs, Jango Edwards, Jef Johnson, Sergio Claramount, Jan Raga, Eric de bont, Ami Habatt, Esther Harlan among others.
He was a student at the mask school at Casa da Comédia in Lisbon directed by Felipe Crawford.

He worked several times with the English company Desperate Men, in shows (CSI clown investigation and Factor E).
He has already presented his solo shows at several festivals in mainland Portugal and islands, Germany, Italy, Spain, Austria and France.
In the last 25 years he has worked in the entertainment field, having given hundreds of performances, shows, lectures and training courses for universities, municipalities, companies, fairs, festivals, congresses and much more…
For 15 years now, he has been an active founder of the “Remédios do Riso” association as a hospital clown (Hospitals in Évora, Setúbal, Faro and Cuf Descobertas Lisboa), manager, fundraiser, trainee and trainer (in hospital and artistic matters).


Tânia Lopes
Percussionist, Drummer and Teacher
Born in Lisbon in 1982, she began her musical experience at the age of 14 in the area of Traditional Portuguese Percussion, passing through Orquestra Toca drum.
From 1999 onwards, he began his training as an instrumentalist, having as teachers: Afro Mandingue Percussion- Gueladjo Sané (Guinea – Bissau), Roderick Jackson (USA), Conny Kadia (TamTam Mandingue- Germany); Afro-Brazilian Percussion with Éden Moreira (Afro Cortejo) in Pirajá and Pelourinho - Salvador da Baia (Brazil); Afro-Cuban Percussion with Professor and Percussionist André Gonzalo in Havana, where he deepened his skills in the instrument Bongos (2006) and Osvaldo Pegudo (2004-2012). He participated in artistic residencies within them with the group Coetus (Barcelona) in Percussion Ibérica - Menorca (Spain)-2016.
His academic musical training also passed through the Academia de Amadores de Música, concluding at Escola Villas Boas – Hot Club de Portugal with the 4th year of the Full-time Course in Afro-Cuban Percussion (maracas, guiro, bells, bongos, timbales, congas and batá) (Osvaldo Pegudo) and 2nd year in Jazz Drums (Pedro Viana and Bruno Pedroso). He currently attends private drum lessons with drummer André Sousa Machado.
In 1998, she began her musical work in the area of education as a teacher of traditional percussion in social / community projects, training in solo percussion orchestra and accompaniment for bagpipes, worked with entities such as Tocá Rufar (2012- 2017), Associação TradBalls (2010-2012), Associação Gaita de Foles de Lisboa (2012-2014), Xuventude da Galicia (2016-2017), CIRAC (2017-2019), Casa Pia de Lisboa (2006-2021) and SKOOLA (2021).
He developed his professional experience in several formations, where the following stand out: Gaitafolia (2002), Dazkarieh (2002), Tucanas (2006), Transatlantists with Afonso Pais (2009), Luiz e a Lata (2009), Farra Fanfarra (2009), accompanying band on the RTP1 program “Voz de Portugal” and on program “Sábado à Luta” SIC, and with groups and musicians such as: Amélia Muge, Né Ladeiras, Sara Tavares, Paulo Marinho, Celina da Piedade, João Balão, José Salgueiro, Carlos Guerreiro, Pedro Mestre, Afonso Pais, Adufeiras de Monsanto, Gaiteiros de Lisboa, José Manuel David, Ronda dos Quatro Caminhos, Luar na Lubre, Sétima Legião, Amor Electro, Rodrigo Leão, Men da Luta (2014), Celina da Piedade (2014), Jorge Fernando (2015), Janita Salomé (2015) ), Lura (2015), Pedro Moutinho (2017), Simone de Oliveira (2017), Rita Redshoes (2017), Filipa Cardoso (2019) among others.
She is currently a freelance percussionist and percussion teacher at the education development centers at Casa Pia in Lisbon and at the SKOOLA_Village Underground in Lisbon.
